Tip: Smileys

Even though we have not added any smileys yet, that does not stop you from getting some. It takes a little while longer to do it this way but you get to express youself.

Getting them:
You can Google "Smiley" to get tons of sites with free smileys.

Using them:
After you have found the smiley that you want to use you must post it somehow. There are 2 ways of doing this:

1.) Some sites could have a code for the smiley. Just copy and paste the one for forums onto your post where you want it.

2.) Uploading them. This takes longer but still gets you the smiley. Right click on the smiley that you want (this won't work for animation) and then click on "Save Picture As..." Then save it somewhere where you can easily find it later. Now go to any image uploading site and upload it there. I suggest PixPipeLine.com or ImageShack.com. After you have uploaded it get the code that it gives you. Remember to get the one that goes for forums. Now just paste it into your post.

Notes:
1.) Do not post smileys that go against the site rules. They will be removed and it could get you in trouble.

2.) Every code from a site comes with a link back to the site in it. Remember to delete it. It is normally in a [url] tag.

Tip: Dont go to sites that ask you to download smilies because lots of times, like 9/10, you will end up with viruses and firewalls on your computer due to them and sometimes you may not even be able to use them for forums.

Yes, packages are normally not good.

Now there is a way to get the smileys without downloading. Some sites show examples. I even remember this one site that showed all of the smilies in normal size. If it is like that you can just use the "Right Click > Save As..." to get them/the on you want.
